I’m an Australian, now based in Vienna, Austria, where I was born. I grew up in Australia and after more than 25 years in the Geneva area, am now living in Vienna again. A founding member of the Geneva Writers' Group, I started writing fiction in 1993 and my poems, articles and stories have appeared widely in print and online. I hold a PhD in Creative Writing (UNSW 2009 Sydney) and have published the story collections The Past Present (2000/2001), Back Burning (2007), Mercury Blobs (2013), and in German translation, Geflimmer der Vergangenheit (2014); writing as AstridL, Consuming the Muse - erotic tales was published in 2013. My debut novel, All the Beautiful Liars, was published as a Lightning Bolt eBook by Eye & Lightning Books, UK, in March 2020.
