On the edge of truth and reality

In the city of Athens, a tragic family drama unfolds around the "Zikos" family, who inherited an unusual legacy: a giant pit instead of traditional wealth. The artistic father spent 25 years sculpting the pit into a changing artwork bearing the face of the ruling governor, but fate denied him the chance to complete his masterpiece. The pit becomes a contentious inheritance among the four siblings: practical "Andreas"; "Nervana", married to the state representative "Biro"; dreamy "Ophelia" who reshaped the pit into her father's likeness; and impulsive "Alexander" eager to sell and travel.

The case reaches the court of a wise judge, where paradoxes escalate: the family friend lawyer "Mansous", and "Biro" who balances his official role with family ties. The events reveal a complex web of interests, where the First Minister benefited from the pit's treasures while manipulating the family's fate.

In a tragic twist, storms and floods replace human justice, as waters swallow both the pit and the neighboring palace, claiming the siblings' lives. The pit transforms into a lake memorializing the family, while the sole survivor "Ophelia" crafts clay statues from the lakeshore to immortalize her loved ones. What began as a bizarre legal dispute evolves into a tragic canvas where nature's justice surpasses human laws, leaving behind a legacy of beauty and loss that defies ownership and regulations. the full story in the Arabic text.
