Thomas Gorguissian is a journalist and a writer focused on Egypt and the Middle East Currently he contributes from Washington frequent reports and analysis in Arabic to both Al Ahram and Al Tahrir Egyptian daily newspapers. Over the last 25 years he has written extensively, in both Arabic and English, on Egypt's culture, politics, and society – as well as on US foreign policy vis-a-vis the Middle East, and on US-Egypt relations. He has worked with many Egyptian
publications, participating in the establishment of some of them and witnessing the closure of others. He has appeared as an analyst on Al jazeera, Al Arabiya,CNN, C-SPAN, and various Egyptian television networks.
