Shaker Nouri

Iraqi novelist, journalist and translator. He has a BA in English Literature from Baghdad University where he taught for four years before moving to France in 1979. He obtained a PhD in Cinema and Theatre from the Sorbonne, Paris. Shaker Nouri has published eight novels and won the Ibn Battuta Prize for Travel Literature for his book "A Visa for the Tower of Babylon: Paris Journals"
