Through this new series of in depth conversations with Arab and international authors, arabworldbooks.com aims to explore the motivation, process, and of course, the outcomes of a writer's journey, and hopefully, shed some light on the values and experiences that are common to writers and readers across the world, as well as their respective idiosyncrasies and cultural specificities.
We launched this series with a conversation with Australian/Austrian author Sylvia Petter. Our second conversation will be with Egyptian author and linguist Dr. Reem Bassiouney.
The discussion will be conducted in English and moderated by Egyptian novelist, Mohamed Tawfik.
It will take place on Saturday December 19, 2020, at 7:00 pm Cairo time via Zoom.
