Salam Sarhan was born in Iraq in 1961, lives in London since 1991. He has a B.A. Economics 1984 Al-Mustansiriyah University in Iraq. He has written two poetry books to date; "Abolishing the Questions" Baghdad 1988. "The Horizon of Desire" Beirut 1997 His poetry has been translated into English, German and Spanish Languages. He has published hundreds of articles on a broad range of issues including politics, reviews, criticism, heritage, literature and poems. These have been published in numerous publications in many countries. Sarhan has a long experience in all types of media since 1984, including News Editor, Reporter, Cultural Editor and TV Producer/Presenter for "Almashhad Althaqafi" (The Cultural Scene) on Al-Jazeera Satellite.
