Mazen Haidar is a Lebanese writer and architectural heritage researcher (born in Beirut, 1979). He has published numerous studies in Arabic and French on 20th-century Beirut residential architecture. He has published two novels, *Four Steps Down* (2017) and *Please Replace the Wreaths* (2023), and his third novel, *The Summer of Sarofim's Widow* (2025), published by Naufal-Hachette Antoine.
