Mariam Al-Khatib is a writer, poet, and survivor of the genocide in Gaza. Her work bridges personal survival and collective memory, using writing as a tool for resistance and healing. She has been published in international platforms such as We Are Not Numbers, This Week in Palestine, Palestine Deep Dive, and TRT World.

Her writings focus on the female body in war, urban memory, justice, identity, and exile.

She currently studies Dentistry in Cairo and seeks to connect medicine with art and literature. Mariam is also learning music and plays the oud.
