Dr Shazly has over 50 years of varied progressive experience developing and managing computer system applications. His work experience has involved both the technical aspects of the development of scientific and business applications as well as the managerial aspects of the technology and its environment from its conceptualization through implementation, operation and retirement.
Chronologically, Dr Shazly’s work experience spans a variety of organizations specifically Academy of Science (Egypt)., University of South Carolina, Policy Management Systems, SC Dept of Juvenile Justice, IBM and UNICOM. For the past 30 years he has been engaging with an international/global customer base.
From a technical, research and development perspective Dr Shazly work covered Remote Sensing, Geographical Processing, 3-dimensional Geological Mapping, Computer Networks, Distributed and Parallel Data Processing, Court administration, Performance and product testing, “Big Data” indexing, storage and retrieval.
Dr Shazly obtained his B.Sc. (Physics/Electronics) in 1975, his M.Sc. in Remote Sensing/Geographic Image processing) in 1982 and his Ph.D. (Remote Sensing/Digital Image processing) in 1988.
