Soliman Abdel Monem

Dr. Soliman Abdelmonem holds a Ph.D. in law, with a very honorable appreciation, from the French University of Grenoble, to be a Professor of Law in the Faculty of Law at the University of Alexandria and Beirut Arab University.

Dr. Soliman is the Secretary Ggeneral of the Arab Thought Foundation
He held several positions including the following:
President of the Legislative Committee of the National Council for Human Rights in Egypt, the Executive Director of the Centre for Legal and Economical Studies and Researches in the University of Alexandria, the member of the Advisory Committee in the Library of Alexandria and a writer for a number of Egyptian and Arab newspapers.
He has many cultural and intellectual contributions and more than twenty scientific books in Arabic and French languages in the fields of multiple jurisdictions.
He issued the novel “The first chapter from the time of delirium” and short stories: “Four papers forgotten” and the collection of poems “The dreams of a boy who abandoned poetry”. He has about two hundred studies and articles in the two newspapers: the Egyptian “Al-Ahram” and the Lebanese “Al-Safir” in the fields of intercultural dialogue, political thought, education, cultural identity, human rights, youth, Arabic language, culture of peace and issues of Arab reform.
He served as an international expert to the United Nations Organization and the League of Arab States, where he prepared and contributed in the preparation of many Arab and international conventions as well as different laws projects, and he shared working papers, researches and sessions management in many Arab and international conferences.
