Thistle and jasmine
The novel falls into five chapters: (total / graves / inheritance / / womb).
- The novel is concerned with the rural atmosphere, through dealing with the reality of life, in one of the villages of the delta, as part of Egypt affected by the radical changes affecting all aspects of life, positively and negatively. Jasmine wanted him to warn the thorns of its branches as Michael (the protagonist) explores the origins of these variables, their appearances, and their impact on life, whether sweet or bitter, through a few past decades, and even before the January 2011 revolution, and to show the writer's vision toward some generations, the last of which Jill, the protagonist of the novel, is the most educated person in his family and perhaps his village, whose members resort to him at all times of need.
