Currently director of Egypt's National Center for Translation. He is also a well-known translator that translated some of the most sophisticated contemporary philosophical texts such as Jacques Derrida’s seminal De la Grammatologie (Of Grammatology) and Alain Touraine’s Critique de la Modernite (Critique of Modernity) as well as (How to Make the Future) , (On the Science of Writing) and (Christians and Muslims: Brothers before God).
