To promote Siwa's economic and tourist investment potential, Fayza Abul-Naga, minister of state for foreign affairs and international cooperation and Ali El-Sei'di, minister of industry, visited Siwa for three days on March 18 accompanied by 15 foreign ambassadors.

Due to Siwa's unique environmental, agricultural, and tourist qualities, the focus was on a comprehensive vision for an environmentally sustainable development of the oasis. A development that is geared towards protection and preservation of the unique personality of this area and its environment.
